The vibrant program began with the traditional prayer, Lamp lightening and garlanding of the Goddess Saraswati by the chief guest Shri Ankit Agarwal, Executive director, Geetanjali Group, Guest of Honour Dr.S.K Luhadia,President Geetanjali University, Special Guests Dr. Sangia Gupta Dean, GMCH, Dr. Manjinder Kaur Additional Principal,GMCH, Dr. Arvind Yadav, Dean PG studies,GU, Dr. Dad, Principal Paramedical Sciences. Students from MBBS Batch 2022 and 2023 presented songs, dance and drama. The participants in Mr. and Miss Fresher competition were walked on ramp and tried to present their talent best before the judges. The judges for the event were Dr. Jitendra Jeenger, Professor Psychiatry, Dr. Naren Kurmi, Professor Physiology, Dr. Anjana Varma, Professor Community Medicine, Dr. Charu Sharma, Associate Professor Anaesthesia. Principal of GMCH, Dr. Sangita Gupta motivated students in her address to build a strong bond between seniors and juniors. The President Geetanjali University, Dr. S.K.Luhadia put torch on the theme of the event 'Angles and Demons' and explained about the presence of Gooness and Badness, both aspects in the human being. Miss Tanisha Zala won the title of 'Miss Fresher 2023' and Mr.Pranjal Jain won the title of ' Mr. Fresher 2023'. Mr and Miss Fresher 2023 were crowned by chief guest Shri Ankit Agarwalji. The program was concluded by vote of thanks by Dr.Monali Sonawane, Professor Anatomy.
